| Final Race Update | Tuesday 30th May 2006:So that is it! This race will no longer exist.
My thanks to all the marshals, sponsors, the Hare and Hounds pub, and you, the competitors for making it
hard work but fun! Results available HERE Just added the PICTURES It was summed up by quotes on the day... "I did not have a smile on my face but inside I was beaming!" "Thanks, just like to say had a great day its the second time i've done this event and its a shame it won't be on again but i hope to do some of your other events, hope it all went ok for yourselves and hope you continue to provide such excellant events." "It seemed the organiser went out of his way to bring us the toughest route possible....BRING IT ON!" "As a fellrunner you get into a rut doing the same races year after year, so start to look for something different. This certainly is. Fantastic and well organised for such a mammoth course" (Organisers note:- It took 2 days to set it up and a day to collect in!) |
